Irish football fans are currently putting on quite a show in France, widely considered among the best supporters that made their way to the 2016 European Football Championship.

The following video was captured in Lille where a group of Irish fans set off to fix a car’s roof which was previously dented after one of them climbed on, trying to gain a better view of what was going on in the streets.

Even though climbing on cars is not the type of behavior anybody should be applauding, the fact they proceeded to wedge money in the car’s doors in order to cover the cost of the damage was definitely a nice thing to do.

The boys in green then began to hit the roof of the car with their fists around the dented area, because as you may know, if you hit a dented panel in the right spot, the dent should pop out – which is exactly what happens, followed by the men cheering on as if their team had just scored a goal.

According to the Independent, all of this happened a day before French newspaper L’Equipe wrote a two-page spread on how both Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland fans brought their positive attitude to a country greatly in need of it.
