Universally recognized as one of the world’s most desirable supercars, the track-focused Aventador SV is certainly good at attracting people with video cameras.

Thankfully, most of them know not to get in its path when it’s about to launch, especially if the driver is focused on that split-second moment when the red light turns green so he can release the brake pedal.

One of the cameramen filming this drag race had just finished getting a few shots of the cars from the front (both the Lambo as well as the Corvette Z06 it was racing), and thought that he could just casually stroll in front of the Aventador as if it wasn’t just about to blast off trying to conquer that Vette in a straight line.

We’re glad nobody got hurt because it was a pretty close call even with the driver reacting as well as he did – which by the way meant avoiding the cameraman while still keeping his car in the race by simply lifting off slightly and not letting the rear end slide around too much after the initial evasive maneuver.

Oh, and if you’re wondering why the Lambo sounds even more bonkers than usual, it’s probably because of its custom Akrapovic exhaust system.
