Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing unveiled their AM-RB 001 concept earlier today and judging by what they’re saying, the car should deliver genuine hypercar-like performance once its ready to hit the roads.

YouTuber Shmee150 was on location at Aston Martin’s Gaydon factory, where RBR driver Daniel Ricciardo helped pull the covers off the car, while former F1 legend Martin Brundle tried to find out as much as possible about it.

Moving the camera around the car helps us get a much better look at its amazing aerodynamic properties – where from certain angles you can even see all the way through the underside of the car – like from behind the arches.

Shmee is also letting us know that 370 customers have already stated their interest in purchasing a car that will only have a run of about 99 to 150 units – priced between £2 and £3 million (unconfirmed). While deliveries won’t start until 2018, running prototypes are expected to be seen sometime at the end of next year.

Safe to say, we can’t wait to see the AM-RB 001 out on the track and we’re also looking forward to it receiving a proper name instead of just a codename.
