Reckless driving will result in a ticket for the one at the helm, but this Pennsylvania mother of two that was on the passenger’s seat is facing prison time for treating her own children like luggage.

After an anonymous phone call was placed to 911 reporting that someone had put children in the trunk of a car, 29-year old Jessica Reger was pulled over by the police while riding shotgun in a red Corvette, driven by her friend, 29-year old Ilena Blackburn, as DailyMail reports.

The officers immediately opened the trunk of the sports car, only to find Reger’s kids, aged 3 and 5. The woman didn’t seem to be affected by her action, but she is currently facing the consequences, as under the Pennsylvania criminal code, a punishment of up to 90 days in jail and a $300 fine is carried to someone leaving a child under the age of six unattended in a vehicle.

Reger was escorted to York County jail, where she remains in custody, charged with endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person; her bail is set at $2,500. Blackburn was charged with recklessly endangering another person.
