Compared to rival Ferrari, its presence in the racing arena is relatively small. In fact, Lamborghini only competes in the Blancpain Endurance and Sprint Series, IMSA GTD class and its one-off Super Trofeo series with race-spec variants of the Huracan.

If Lamborghini does indeed create an ultra-fast racing version of the Huracan, it would compete against the likes of the Ferrari 488 GTE and the brand new Ford GT GTE racer, adding even more excitement to the sport.
