Lancia Delta Integrale Evo II Is A Wonderful Oddity In Los Angeles

Keep your flashy Ferraris and Lambos at bay; a Lancia Delta Integrale is way more rare on the streets of LA.

The legendary Integrale is the perfect example of a homologation special and the true forefather of the Mitsubishi Evo and the Subaru STI.

Bryan Calvero was always a fan of European sports cars and when the time came, he managed to make his dream come true and buy his beautiful example in the late Evo II guise.

“The design of the car is definitely timeless”, he says in the latest Petrolicious film. “The body style, you see it evolving in new cars, it was definitely ahead of its time.”

And it’s one of those cases where style doesn’t come on top of substance, for this is still a five-door practical hatchback that can be used on a daily basis or get his driver excited on a good canyon road.

“I get a lot of people that they don’t know what it is, they don’t know if it’s old or if it’s new, or modern,” Calvero says. “[but] you get that certain crowd that loses it when they see it.”
