Just seconds after initiating a chase, a police cruiser in Minnesota was t-boned and flipped onto its roof while crossing an intersection.
The entire incident was captured on dashcam and shows the moment an Oldsmobile sped through a red light right in front of the Fridley Police department’s Ford Explorer.
The SUV can then be seen slowly accelerating through the intersection with its flashing lights on only to be hit from the side by a Toyota Camry traveling in the other direction.
The Camry hit the Explorer with enough force to propel it into the curb, causing it to flip and roll onto its roof.
Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the crash but police are yet to catch the red light runner.
