“Strong As Steel” Tape Keeps Roll Cage Together During Massive Drop

We have to hand it to these Fiber Fix guys and their commercial for tape that’s as strong as steel, or allegedly about 100 times stronger than duct tape.

The spot can be equally funny as it is ridiculous, especially if you’re a fan of this so-called “southern charm” – which in this case basically means getting things done in the manliest way possible.

In a sense, this video reminds us a lot about Nick Offerman’s NASCAR ad from 2015 when he was trying to charm his way into lecturing us about American traditions, values and..well, you can watch it here in case you forgot about it.

At just under 5 minutes, this FiberFix spot can get a little tiring, but if you don’t mind listening to how much of a man you’d be if you’d have the type of tape that will “permanently” fix anything that breaks, then you’ll probably enjoy the gist of the ad.

Oh and yes, watching those cars take a 140 foot (42 m) tumble is pretty spectacular.

Ha, ha! Effective…”Stop being such a tape racist!” LOL

Carscoops, please put away the inferiority complex and take this for what it is…a tongue-in-cheek play on the typical boring infomercial, even if a little bit stereotypical of what a southern accent and person speaks like.

I used this after I shoveled into an irrigation line in my yard. Kinda sticky and messy, but it works extremely well. The stuff is indestructible.
