What do you do if you’re a famous basketball player who’s just signed with the L.A. Clippers for a mind-blowing $35 million? Why, buy a Ferrari, fresh off the assembly lines, of course.

Austin Rivers went for the most expensive mass-produced model the Prancing Horse currently has in its lineup, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, but the 24-year old player wasn’t satisfied having his supercar stock, so he turned to Ultimate Auto to give it a few extra touches.

Once completed with a new matte grey wrap and sitting on Savinni wheels, the athlete couldn’t have been happier, so his next move was to present it to his 264k Instagram followers, in a couple of images, accompanied by two short comments during which he refers to it as his “new monster”.

Rivers’ latest purchase comes just a few months after he sold a Rolls-Royce, it too with a few special personal touches, and joins his beloved jewel, a Mercedes G-Wagon. The man has a long list of previously-owned vehicles, which include a custom Dodge Challenger, a modified Jeep Wrangler and a Porsche Cayenne, with aftermarket wheels, among others.
