This 1996 911 that was burned down to the ground is hardly even recognizable as a Porsche anymore. Its exterior condition demands for a decent burial under the crusher, the interior is non existent and its engine is burned to a crisp.

However, the overenthusiastic vendor believes that, for the right price, it could shine again. The seller says that the repair bill to bring it back to showroom condition is estimated at $195,000, and once returned to its former glory, is said to go for $95,000, which even if true, make no (financial) sense whatsoever.

In the real world, a Porsche 996 993, with low mileage and in working condition, normally sells for around $60,000, so it’s not hard to see why, at the time of writing, absolutely no bidders have shown interest in purchasing it.

If you’re somehow an extravagant artist who sees a piece of art in this pile of junk, or if you simply want to spend a few bucks to buy your child/wife/mistress/friend/mother-in-law a Porsche as a joke, then you might want to head over to Copart to check out the ad.
