Yes, it’s the three-point star unicorn everyone keeps talking about and now it’s your chance to own it, provided you have money. Like lots of bags filled with them.

This spectacular specimen is number 452 of the total 502 cars made and it’s only one out of the four cars that were officially sold new in the UK market.

With the clock showing just 885 miles, this black Evo II was purchased by a collector and stored at the supplying main dealer for around a decade. During this time, the car never covered any road miles which partially explains the insanely low mileage.

Everything is described to be in perfect condition, from the bodywork to the panel gaps and from the leather seats to the dash and the door cards. Every component has been meticulously preserved over the last 26 years, with the engine bay remaining totally original and correct.

“Without question, one of the lowest mileage examples one could ever find on the market today”, said Nick Whale, managing director of Silverstone Auctions. “We welcome any pre-sale inspections on this unique vehicle and are certain you’ll agree that this incredible homologation special would be a welcome contender at any Concours event around the world.”

The Evo II version of the 190E 2.5-16 is the most sought-after of the model’s family as it not only represents the fastest of its kind but also gained a huge fan base thanks to its dramatic looks. The 2.5-litre engine produces 235hp in its case which allowed the Evo II to accelerate the classic 0-62mph (0-100km/h) sprint in 7.1 seconds.

The car will be auctioned at the 2016 Salon Prive Sale at the Blenheim Palace in UK in September, with an estimate between £180,000 and £220,000 ($234k-$284k in current exchange rates).
