Even though the Peugeot 308 hasn’t really been that active within media circles lately, the French automaker is currently preparing a slight redesign.

These photos were snapped up by our spy photographers in Southern Europe and show a hidden bumper (which means changes) and quite possibly a new grille as well. The headlights seem to be slightly different also, and if you look close, you’ll notice subtle differences in the hood design.

The rear end however looks the same as before, though they’ll probably feature new taillight graphics – which is the norm among facelifted models.

Under the skin, we’ll be seeing a few upgraded engines and maybe even new ones, with the goal being to reduce CO2 emissions and fuel economy figures.

The final product could be revealed as soon as the 2016 Paris Auto Show; otherwise, it should surface in March in Geneva, though we’d bet the French will chose their home soil.
