Genesis To Open Its First Showroom This Week In South Korea

Genesis will open the doors to its first dedicated showroom in South Korea this week as Hyundai looks to cement its luxury division as its very own brand.

Located in Seoul, the dealership will help local consumers become familiar with Genesis as its own company and make it more distinguishable from Hyundai. Helping to achieve this will be the showroom’s luxury feel provided by concrete, rusted steel sheets and wooden floor boards throughout its construction.

The dealership will offer customers a full range of services including test drives, configuration tools and making the final purchase.

In a statement, head of the Genesis brand, Manfred Fitzgerald, revealed that the company intends on opening other dealerships across South Korea and ultimately throughout the world.

“You will see more exciting brand spaces to come in the near future,” he said. “This space, located in a busy area, will serve to introduce our brand, and to raise visitors’ curiosity around it.”
