Lamborghini Suspected Of Speeding With Porsche Crashes, Kills Buick Uber Driver

An 82-year-old Uber driver has been killed in a horror crash in Delray Beach, Florida when his Buick Enclave was struck by a Lamborghini Murcielago at high speed.

Police and eyewitnesses state that the yellow Lamborghini Murcielago, driven by 60-year-old Roger Wittenberns, was speeding alongside his 61-year-old girlfriend, Patty Ann McQuiggin, in her Porsche 911.

When Wittenberns crossed Federal Highway west, he collided with the Buick of Uber driver J. Gerald Smith. The impact was severe enough to eject Wittenberns from the Lamborghini and leave Smith in a critical condition. He died soon after at the local Delray Medical Center.

Those investigating the crash believe that speed was not the only factor. They say that alcohol likely played a contributing role in the crash as Wittenberns latter told police from his hospital bed that he had been drinking with his girlfriend beforehand.

Immediately following the crash, Wittenberns’ girlfriend left the scene and dumped her car in a nearby restaurant parking lot.

WPTV reports that traffic homicide investigators are currently reviewing the case before any decision will be made with the State Attorney’s office to press possible charges against Wittenberns and McQuiggin.

Typical. Rich assholes that think the world’s their playground commit manslaughter and some innocent person dies, but they live. Guaranteed that their money and a high priced lawyer will get them off on a highly reduced sentence.

Your comments are silly by directing the blame at being wealthy. The good thing about America is that you can dream about becoming wealthy and then have the opportunity with hard work to make those dreams come true. In the local paper, every week, ***poor*** thugs go out and commit serious crimes and could care less about whom they harm, maim or kill because they don’t fear the Justice system (since they get a high priced Lawyer for Free) or jail. We just witnessed that on live TV in Charlotte, NC.

    Typical Lamborghini driver.

She needs to be nailed as hard as him for causing this man’s death. No easy off just because she is a woman. Equal rights, equal punishment.

High speed driving/ racing on public roads is always a bad idea, because stuff like this can happen quite easily. Being a Lamborghini owner has nothing to do with it.

Take your car to the track!

How could they have fun at the expense of someone else’s life? They are rich, why didn’t they just rent a circuit and speeding as fast as they can and nobody will be in the risk of fatal accident like this. Totally heartless, selfish and stupid. Both of them must be punished for committing manslaughter.

Drunks don’t think of anyone but themselves at the time.

Alcohol is the problem more than speeding.

Have fun in your retirement. I’m assuming you’ll be sitting in a chair in the corner of room by 55 by the way you sound.

Are you sure this wasn’t the filming of the fast and the furious senior drift?

    • antbee

      Sorry, but… LOL!!

Bitch took off at the first sign of trouble. Didn’t stick around to help her boyfriend at all?? Wow. What a keeper.

    In other news: Because Florida.

  • antbee

I’m sorry the older man in the Enclave died, only because two drunk people in their matching yellow(how cute) cars, had to have their fun, despite the risk to other people, and themselves. I hope they get charged with murder, manslaughter is too good for them.
