Meet the retro-modded Camaro 789 SS, a custom car that N2A will build on top of any 5th-gen (2010-2015MY) Camaro Convertible.

The exterior is meant to remind buyers of old 1957, 58 and 59 Chevys, and it’s built from carbon fiber composites to resemble those classic models – which is where the name ‘789’ comes from.

Now, whether yours (assuming you’re interested in doing this conversion) will be called the 789 SS or 789 ZL or 2SS depends entirely on the donor vehicle’s performance level.

The team over at N2A Motors have previously used the 789 name to built a custom C6 Corvette as well as a 789 XLR, obviously built on a Cadillac XLR and which features a retractable hard top.

Currently, they’re looking into converting the 2016 & 2017 MY Camaro as well, so if you’re interested in seeing what that would look like, the custom builder would kindly ask you to stay tuned.

Their goal is to “take everything that we love about our favorite classic, retro and modern sports cars, and build them into new vehicles with state-of-the-art performance, safety, and reliability.”

Are you feeling this 789 SS, or does it seem too weird to have a classic exterior and a modern interior at the same time?
