New Peugeot 5008 Dreams Of The Countryside In Pickup Form

An increasing number of automakers are already offering, or considering the launch, of pickup trucks, in all shapes and sizes, but Peugeot hasn’t made a step into this direction so far.

The French brand isn’t thinking about it – yet – but if it did, TheophilusChin is proposing the conversion of the all-new 5008 into something akin to a European-flavored (and -sized) Honda Pilot. Oddly, this rendering doesn’t look half bad.

Increasing the new Pug’s ground clearance, fitting it with roof rails and a practical bed that can carry all sorts of things, the 5008 has been transformed into a snazzy pickup truck that would make the Mitsubishi L200 jealous.

But would you actually buy one if by some miracle Peugeot ever decided to create it?
