In preparation of the new College Football season, Nissan has launched their updated Diehard Fan app along with a new sweepstakes.

The best part is that all NCAA sports fans can download and use Nissan’s app to virtually paint their face using either their smartphone or tablet (iOS & select Android devices).

In order to get the drawings just right, each face paint was hand painted on human models by a world-champion face painter and digitally modified to offer a very realistic look on anybody.

“Updates to Nissan’s Diehard Fan mobile app brings even more excitement this fall as college sports swing into action,” said Jeremy Tucker, VP of marketing & communications at Nissan North America. “This is just one way to unleash your team colors anywhere, anytime, and engage with Nissan and our College 100 Sponsorship of men’s and women’s college sports programs throughout the U.S.”

The update includes Michigan State, Notre Dame, San Diego State and the University of Hawaii being added to the list of colleges, as well as new face-paint designs and a 3D animated cheer feature.

As for the sweepstakes, fans can take turns at virtually customizing a Nissan Titan (link here), as the lucky winner will actually get the chance to drive home the very same custom-wrapped truck in his team’s colors.
