This Is How Valentino Balboni’s Aventador SV Exhaust System Sounds Like

Back in August, Valentino Balboni announced a high-end exhaust system dedicated for one the most powerful raging bulls ever created.

Valentino Balboni’s heart remained with the Italian car maker after his retirement in 2008, but he still works with Lamborghini through his newly unveiled VB brand. The first product presented at the Concorso Italiano in Monterrey Bay, California, is a state-of-the-art, limited edition, ultralight titanium exhaust for the Aventador LP-750 SV, and it sounds bonkers.

Weighing in at only 13.8 lbs (6.3 kg), the component is handmade as a Lamborghini collector’s item, requiring more than 350 hours to manufacture. Available exclusively for the Super Veloce, only 30 numbered pieces will be produced. Not enough for everybody, considering that 1,100 SVs were made in total.

Compared to the (already) visceral resonance of the supercar’s stock exhaust, the VB system amplifies the naturally aspirated V12’s metallic racket, making it sound like a fully-fledged racing car. But instead of reading a description of what noise it makes, you can hear it for yourself in the video down below.

Thank you. I clicked on the article to post *precisely* this. Usually I ignore it, but after seeing the same “…how it looks like…” at least ten times on this site, I finally had to say something. If you are going to write, at least use proper grammar. +100 upvotes if I could.

If I get a Lamborghini, first thing I’m doing is put VB parts on it

To be honest…for such an amount of metalwork, prestige of VB and money it sounds…cr*ap, real cr*p!

    • eb110americana

I somewhat agree. The volume levels are totally maxed out on the recording equipment, so I will withhold judgement for now. It sounds pretty average until the peaks start clipping off.

  • Elmediterraneo

This should be sold as an official option by Lamborghini.

It sounds fantastic. Like angry growls. I love it. Good job VB!
