Following an earlier leak today, it’s time to get our first full-official look at Skoda’s new SUV, the Kodiaq.

The VW Group camaker will drop the curtains today, September 1, 2016, live streaming the entire event that takes place in Berlin, online from 19:00 CEST (1 pm EST), ahead of its world premiere at the Paris motor show at the end of the month.

Despite the fact that the actual event is only open to journalists and VIP guests, we’ve prepared a virtual experience thanks to live streaming. Featuring interviews and exclusive detailed footage, everything will be transmitted in the highest quality possible“, Skoda explained.

Sharing the MQB platform with the Volkswagen Tiguan and Seat Ateca and sporting a 4.7-meter long body to accommodate a 7-seat layout, the Skoda Kodiaq will hit the market early next year, with a choice of two TSI petrol and two TDI diesel engines. Depending on the selected trim, the SUV will offer FWD and AWD configurations and a choice between a standard six-speed manual gearbox and an optional DSG. All-wheel drive models will also gain an off-road mode.
