Infiniti announced the MY2017 QX60 which receives a number of upgrades, both under the bonnet and inside the cabin.

Infiniti’s seven-seat crossover will now be powered by an updated 3.5-litre V6 engine churning out 295hp (30hp more than before) and 270lb-ft of torque (an increase of 22lb-ft), thanks to the addition of direct injection, a revised air intake system, electronic variable timing control and mirror bore coating. The new V6 unit is still paired to a CVT transmission.

Inside there’s the company’s latest InTouch infotainment system with navigation and InTouch services, with the latter available in the Premium Plus pack. The Deluxe Technology pack now adds a motion activated tailgate, high-beam assist and auto-dimming mirrors. Other new features include a pair of bigger 8-inch color monitors, a 12V power point, a USB and HDMI port and Wi-Fi as part of the Theater pack.

The 2017 Infiniti QX60 continues to offer a wide range of active safety features, including Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Backup Collision Intervention and Intelligent Cruise Control. Just like before, customers will be given the choice between rear- or all-wheel drive.

Pricing starts at $44,095 (including destination and handling fees) for the base rear-wheel driven Infiniti QX60 while the AWD version is priced accordingly from $45,895.
