German tuning company and racing outfit ABT Sportsline has wasted no time in adding their own unique flair to the latest-generation Volkswagen Tiguan.

The firm offers upgrade packages for all the available powertrains in three different levels of tune. Starting with the 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engines on offer, ABT has upped power for its range-topping model to 215 PS (212hp) and 440 Nm (325 lb-ft) of torque while a lesser version with 180 PS (178hp) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft)has also been created.

As for the petrol-powered models, ABT has so far just modified the 2.0-liter TSI and bumped power to 216 PS (213hp) and 360 Nm (265 lb-ft) of torque. Down the road, it’s certainly possible the company will play with the 2.0 BiTDI, kicking horsepower nearer the 300 PS (296hp) mark.

Alongside the engine modifications, ABT has engineered lowering springs for the SUV which drop the ride height by around 30 mm. Additionally, four different wheel designs are available in 18, 19, 20 and 21-inch sizes.
