Somebody decided to bring Gran Turismo 4 to life with some RC cars, and the result is outstanding.

The Gran Turismo video game has been letting us (virtually) drive outrageous machines since 1997, so French director Alexandre Synger decided to pay homage to the franchise with a creative project based on the game’s fourth installment.

The whole thing took over two weeks to record and create, and Synger used RC cars that mimic exactly the ones present in the game, from the iconic Castrol-Toms Toyota Supra to the Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak hill-climb racer.

But the attention to detail doesn’t stop there, as every aspect of the game was masterfully reproduced in the video. Everything from the menu and the dials to the starting sequence. Sure, the racing was made more enticing, with an occasional crash here and there; but no more chit-chat, it’s time to take a trip down memory lane.
