The BMW M550 diesel is capable of some impressive performance, while offering a more-than-decent fuel economy for the monster that it is.

However, G-Power believes that the tri-turbo diesel high-performance executive model should be even more powerful, and is offering two power upgrades for both the sedan and estate variants.

Known as D-Tronik 2v1 and D-Tronik 5v1, the former is all about engine remapping, while the latter is a plug and play device, placed between the factory ECU and the internal combustion unit. Both upgrades take the standard 381 PS (376 HP) and 740 Nm (546 lb-ft) of torque, produced by the 3.0-liter, tri-turbo, six-banger, and bring it to 435 PS (429 HP) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque.

G-Power doesn’t reveal the new 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint, but it should improve upon the standard car’s 4.7 seconds that’s just 0.3 seconds behind the M5.

The tuner  recommends fitting the vehicle with their 20-/21-inch Hurricane RR forged wheels, available in Jet Black, Gun Metal Grey and Stardust Silver. If you go for the Diamond Cut finish, the rims can also come partially or completely polished, while the tuner also allows users to personalize the wheels with a personal signature on each one, up to 15 characters.
