Hurst’s white and gold paint scheme has been synonymous with performance in road-going cars ever since the 1969 AMC SC/Rambler, and now it shall adorn the 2017MY Mustang.

Hurst is best known for its performance enhancing products, but being an OEM supplier as well has resulted in the American company collaborated with a few automakers throughout the years, releasing a number of limited edition cars. Its latest project is this stunning, supercharged Ford Mustang, dubbed the R-Code, created in collaboration with Kenne Bell.

Hurst says the vehicle is infused with its DNA and Kenne Bell’s 3.2L, twin-screw, liquid-cooled supercharger, resulting in a gentleman’s hot-rodder. At 750 HP, the modified 5.0-litre Coyote V8 315 HP more than standard. And that’s with the stock unit – with the 4.7L component, power reaches an incredible 1,500 HP!

Of course, it features a plethora of other enhancements, including a 3-inch Flowmaster stainless cat-back with dual exhausts, Kenne Bell injectors, fuel rails, and so on. The ride height was reduced by a set of Hurst lowering springs and the tuned ‘Stang has been fitted with a set of chrome plated 20×9 and 20×10 Hurst Stunner wheels with golden accents. Moreover, the rear spoiler, side splitters, vertical aero fins and rear diffuser all contribute to a more aggressive look.

Only 50 Hurst Mustangs will be built and they’re all perfectly street legal to hoon drive.
