Lamborghini showed up to the world premiere of Marvel Studio’s ‘Doctor Strange’ as co-title sponsor, bringing along a Huracan Coupe.

The Huracan actually makes an appearance in the movie and according to Lamborghini, is “prominently featured during a key turning point in the plot,” driven by the main character, Dr Stephen Strange himself.

Before getting involved with the mystic arts, Strange was one of the world’s top neurosurgeons and possibly a car enthusiast as well, since he chose a Lamborghini as his ride.

“Lamborghini was unquestionably the perfect fit for this project as the Huracán naturally unleashes ones inner Super Hero. The unique story of this new kind of hero mirrors that of the raging bull’s visionary founder Ferruccio Lamborghini; a man capable of creating cars that induce dreams in those who see them and thrills in those who drive them,” said Stefano Domenicali, chairman & CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.

“Much like many Lamborghini owners, Doctor Strange is a bold, ambitious and pioneering character who reaches beyond the realm of the ordinary and thrives in any situation, despite the challenges ahead.”

The Lambo in question is a Grigio Lynx Huracan LP610-4 Coupe, which thanks to its 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine, will hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.2 seconds.

What’s ironic to us though is that in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Stephen Strange drives a more expensive supercar than Tony Stark.
