Mercedes-Benz has expanded the E-Class Estate and GLC Coupe lineup in the United Kingdom by adding new engines to both vehicles.

Unveiled earlier this year, the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate gains three new units, starting with the 2.0-lite diesel that equips the 200d version, which kicks off from £36,735 ($46,775) in the SE grade. It delivers 65.7 mpg UK (54.7 mpg US / 4.3 lt/100 km) and emits 109 g/km of CO2.

Next comes the E350d SE, with its 3.0-liter V6 that produces 258 horsepower, delivers up to 48.7 mpg UK (40.5 mpg US / 5.8 lt/100 km) and emits 140 g/km of CO2. Prices for this version start from £47,255 ($60,170), while the AMG E43 costs £58,290 ($74,225) and uses a 3.0-liter biturbo V6 petrol mill, rated at 401 HP. The latter variant needs 4.7 seconds to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill.

All versions of the E-Class come with a 9-G-Tronic automatic transmission as standard, with shorter shift times for the E43, and feature the same equipment line as the E-Class sedan, but they add the split-folding rear seats. These can also be specified with the optional folding bench seat in the boot, for an additional £1,250 ($1,590), along with an Easy-Pack load securing kit, for another £295 ($375). The E43 can be fitted with an AMG carbon fiber package, for £1,575 ($2,005).

Ending the E-Class list of updates is the E220d Saloon, which is available, for the first time, with the brand’s 4Matic four-wheel drive system. This costs £37,730 ($48,045) and it needs 7.5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h).

Joining the current GLC Coupe lineup is the GLC 350d 4Matic, with its 3.0-liter V6 diesel that produces 358 horsepower, delivers up to 47.1 mpg UK (39.2 mpg US / 6 lt/100 km) and emits 161 g/km of CO2. It starts from £47,135 ($60,020), while the other addition to the family, the AMG GLC 43 4Matic, can be had from £50,960 ($64,890), with its 3.0-liter biturbo V6 petrol mill, which is rated at 367 HP. The more muscular variant needs 4.9 seconds to go from rest to 62 mph (100 km/h) and it can top out at 155 mph (250 km/h).

Deliveries of the E200d Estate, E350d Estate, E43 4Matic Estate, GLC 350d 4Matic Coupe and GLC 43 4Matic Coupe will commence in December.
