New Citroen C3 Could Help You Get Married

There aren’t many things that can top out proposing to your girlfriend, and Citroen knows this.

But how could that possibly help the French sell the latest generation C3? Well, with enough creativity, the automaker has let an idea loose and so one of the first commercials of the all-new supermini is here.

The 45-second long footage shows the practicality of a new optional feature, available on the C3, which is known as Citroen ConnectedCam. This is a system that combines a wide-angle HD camera, with a GPS and a Web connection, in order to send images to social media, at the touch of a button. It can also be used for “subsequent viewing”, as the automaker explains, or as “evidence in the event of an incident”.

Assisting the driver furthermore, depending on the selected model, are the 3D connected navigation with speech recognition, blind spot monitoring, lane departure alert, rearview camera, an SOS service with live assistance, hill start assist and fatigue warning, among others.

Available with an extensive petrol and diesel engine lineup, and with the EAT6 automatic gearbox on higher-end versions, the Citroen C3 is getting ready to arrive with its first owners. Prices for the B-segment hatch kick off from €12,950 ($14,435) on its local market, France.

This is actually a great marketing strategy. Look for people who’ve already been sold a shitty deal, then sell them some more shit.

And it’s some sort of semi-interracial relationship, giving more millennium generation cred. Citroen: we’re cool with how you live your life. Gay men or women relationship to follow for the same reason.
