The latest special edition of the Aventador Coupe was created as a tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Miura, with Lamborghini planning to build just 50 units worldwide and only one allocated to the Hong Kong market.

The only Aventador Miura Homage in the country is finished in a rather lovely Verde Scandal solid green with matt silver livery. The cabin is upholstered in full Terra Emilia vintage leather. As for the local price, it’s HK$8,000,000 – a very steep $1,030,000 in current exchange rates.

Created by Lamborghini’s Ad Personam customization studio, the Aventador Miura Homage was designed to reflect the colors and specs of original Miura models. Specifically, the upper body of the Aventador can be painted in eighteen of the most iconic solid and metallic color options, including Rosso Arancio Miura (solid red), Verde Scandal (solid green), and Blu Tahiti (metallic blue). The lower body and sills are painted in a contrasting tone, the Dione alloys are finished in either matt silver or gold and there are a metallic Miura badge on the sides and a numbered plate positioned inside.

“Having paved the way for mid-engine Lamborghini supercars, the original Miura was truly revolutionary in its own right. There is no better way to honor the iconic Miura than with the current successor to the flagship V12 Raging Bull – the Aventador.” said Mr. Albert Wong, Director of Lamborghini Hong Kong. “With the original color and trim of the Miura, along with its vintage interior upholstery, the Aventador Miura Homage sets out to redefine the classic supercar experience of the modern era.”

No changes have been made on the hardware, which means that the 6.5-litre V12 still makes 700hp and 690Nm of peak torque. 0-62mph (100km/h) is dealt in 2.9 seconds with the top speed is 217mph (350km/h).
