If for some reason you thought the 2016 Nissan Maxima wasn’t enough of a looker, maybe you should try this customized edition for size instead.

Aside from everything that generally helps the Maxima stand out in a crowd, this particular car has been lowered and placed on a set of large Vossen VFS6 wheels.

Furthermore it features a sporty bodykit, a small rear wing as well as tinted taillights and windows. Overall, this almost seems more like a show car than an everyday car, but we reckon that was the point all along.

As for what’s under the hood of this surprisingly aggressive family saloon, it should be Nissan’s 3.5-liter VQ-series redesigned V6 engine, which puts down 300 HP while holding an EPA-estimated 30 mpg (7.8l/100km) rating.

Overall, the color scheme does seem to make sense as the black bodykit components go together with the tinted windows and the black exterior mirror covers, while the chrome door handles and front grille design compliment the custom Vossen wheels.

Of course, do let us know if you think they went a little bit too far with the design.
