Among the plethora of modern-day Mustangs being presented at SEMA, a rather stunning 1965 Mustang from Timeless Kustoms has also been built for the show.

Dubbed ‘Vicious’, the car started life an original 1965 Mustang before arriving in the hands of Timeless Kustoms who swiftly removed the original roof , revised the bodywork and fitted it all on to a custom Art Morrison chassis, utilizing Ridetech Triple Adjustable coilovers from a Corvette.

Beneath the exceptionally wide bodykit, ‘Vicious’ is driven by a 5.1-liter Ford Performance V8 engine complete with a Magnuson TVS supercharger and two turbochargers from Precision Turbo. This results in over 1,000 hp when combined with a high-flow exhaust system from MagnaFlow.

Elsewhere, the car includes a Centerforce DYAD clutch and a sequential six-speed transmission powering the rear wheels. Keeping the car stuck to the ground are massive 305/30ZR19 tyres up front and 355/30ZR19 at the rear, identical to those found on the Dodge Viper ACR.

Other performance-focused modifications include 15.5-inch carbon ceramic rotors as well as 6-piston front calipers and 4-piston rear calipers.

Inside, the changes are just as comprehensive. Gone are any remnants of the origianl Mustang and instead, there is bright red leather throughout, a Motec digital display, a three-spoke Sparco steering wheel and massive paddle shifters.
