Aston Martin DB11 Volante Testing In The Snow Offers Up Some New Viewing Angles

After those three images that we published two months ago, we now have a fresh batch of Aston Martin‘s upcoming DB11 Volante that were snapped during cold weather testing in Sweden.

Everything from the folding soft-top down looks pretty much the same as it does on the Coupe version (same taillights, same fender vents), however, the absence of a C-pillar lends it a somewhat different look. With the Coupe, you get a much more sloped appearance, whereas the Volante is a bit more angular.

Performance-wise, the Volante will utilize the same 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12, sending 608 PS (600 HP) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque to the rear wheels with the help of an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. Still, we’re expecting a slightly slower acceleration time due to the fact that the Volante will be heavier than the Coupe.

As for how much longer we’ll have to wait until we can purchase Aston’s new convertible DB11, the writing on the door of the car says it all.
