According to Carlsson, all of their creations need to be based on cars with impeccable performance credentials, so as far as fast saloons are concerned, working with the Mercedes-AMG C63 S makes a lot of sense.

In terms of power, the upgraded Merc is good for 625 PS (616 HP) and 825 Nm (608 lb-ft) of torque, which makes for a gain of 115 PS (113 HP) and over 125 Nm (92 lb-ft) compared to the factory C63 S. This means a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time of just 3.8 seconds, 0.2 seconds quicker than stock, and tops out at 320 km/h (198 mph).

Carlsson’s aero kit consists of a front spoiler lip, augmented air intake frames, aero flaps, side skirts, rear apron, diffuser and two pairs of black-chromed tailpipes. The kit is being offered in two stages, the first one costing €9,990 without VAT and consists of a front spoiler, rear skirt insert, rear diffuser, sport rear silencer and rear spoiler, whereas the second adds air ducts, mudguards as well as the air outlet cover and is available for €15,990 excluding VAT.

The car is also flaunting the new 20″ Carlsson Wheel 1/10 X alloy wheels, a new design that will be available from Spring 2017 in ‘Brilliant Edition’ and ‘Dark Series’ finish.

Inside, the CC63S has its seats and door panels trimmed in the Scottish sourced Nappa leather with Alcantara highlights and Carlsson Blue Tartan check inserts, while the dashboard and steering wheel are also wrapped in blue and black Nappa leather.
