Oettinger Launches New More Aggressive Outfit For Fast VW Golfs

Oettinger, one of Germany’s most well known VW tuning specialists, is launching a new body kit and exhaust setup for the fast versions of the Golf, including the GTD, the GTI and the R models.

The new exhaust is a quad setup for all three models, with the GTD and GTI gaining an extra pair of exhaust pipes on the right of the car. The Golf R goes a step further and gets a valve control for the new exhaust which measures 84mm in diameter for all models.

Complementing the new quad exhaust is a more aggressive rear diffuser which enhances the aerodynamic ability of the Golf and is aligned perfectly with the rest of the new look. There is also a new roof spoiler which incorporates open flaps.

The Oettinger kit also includes a new bespoke splitter and side skirts which are designed to drive the air under the car effectively as the German tuner claims that their design was perfected in wind tunnels to make sure it reaches “the highest quality levels demanded by Volkswagen”.

The new Oettinger body kit and exhaust setup is available through Volkswagen’s official UK network of retailers and is priced at £3,995 ($5,070) for the GTD and GTI versions and £5,225 ($6,630) for the Golf R, with the price including painting and fitting.
