One-Off Ferrari SP275 RW Competizione Revealed At Daytona

What’s more special than owning a Ferrari? Why, owning a one-of-a-kind Ferrari, of course! And that’s just what we have here in front of us.

Shared by fans on the FerrariChat forum and the Ferrari F12 TdF fan page on Facebook is the SP275 RW Competizione, a one-off based on the F12 Berlinetta, but with custom bodywork to set it apart.

Decked out in yellow with blue-tinted carbon-fiber trim, it’s evidently inspired by the 275 GTB – but not just any 275. This one is said to take its cues from the 1964 Ferrari 275 GTB/C Speciale – specifically the one (out of three built) that’s currently owned by millionaire flea-market magnate Preston Henn.

The SP275 adopts a more low-key appearance than the attention-grabbing supercar on which it’s based, taking a similar stylistic approach (particularly up front) to the Berlinetta Lusso that Touring Superleggera revealed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The side gills recall the aforementioned 275, the headlights appear to be lifted from the limited-edition F60 America, and the hood scoop from the standard F12 has disappeared for a “cleaner” look.

What we can’t see is what lies underneath the bespoke coachwork. It sure packs Ferrari’s 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12, though we don’t know if it’s the TdF‘s unit that churns out 769 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque, or the stock Berlinetta’s 730 HP mill.

The one-off Prancing Horse was reportedly commissioned by (and bears the initials of) Florida dentist Rick Workman, who is thought to have taken possession of the car about a week ago. It’s pictured here alongside other recent rarities like the 599-based P540 Superfast and the aforementioned F60 America at Daytona, where the Ferrari Finali Mondiali year-end spectacular is taking place this weekend.
