The Porsche 911 R is not only one of the hottest cars of the moment, but also one of the most valuable ones in terms of its appreciation.

Used models have already been trading for upwards of $1 million and with the current shortage of new Porsche models with manual gearboxes, we can certainly understand why.

Value aside, the 911 R is also quite the looker, although everyone probably got used to its white with red stripes appearance which is obviously not present here. The owner of the car decided to go with a darker hue, complemented by gray stripes and a bit of yellow for the carbon-ceramic calipers and the writing on the side.

The car was photographed in Paris by Autogespot user Kero and we’d like to think that even in a city of 2.2 million people, something like a dark Porsche 911 R would get noticed right away by car enthusiasts.

We’d also like to hear what you think about the stripes, because gray on black might not agree with everybody.

As for performance, a quick recap would look a little something like this: 500 PS (493 HP), 460 Nm (339 lb-ft), 323 km/h (200 mph) top speed, 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.8 seconds.
