American TV presenter Conan O’Brien visited Berlin and took the opportunity to visit the Autobahn in a BMW i8.
Blasting down the German Mecca of Speed in a proper sports car is an experience everyone should live, with Conan choosing the petrol-electric BMW for the job.
With the guidance of a BMW instructor, Conan took a crash course on what is like to drive on one of the last derestricted road sections on the planet and then took the wheel of the i8 to see how fast he can go.
Helped by the 357hp of the i8’s hybrid powertrain and his natural talent to make fun out of everything, Conan O’Brien managed to hit 141mph (230km/h) -14 less than the electronically limited 155mph top speed of the car- while screaming like a maniac.
