Over the years, we have seen some classic BMWs sell for outrageous sums on the used car market. One model, in particular, stands out – the M3 E30, which has emptied many bank accounts by retailing for up to $150,000, or almost as much as three brand new M2s.

And if you thought that’s insane, then you obviously haven’t read about this BMW M3 E30, which used to compete in the Touring Car Championship with British racing driver Tim Harvey behind the wheel.

Made in 1991 and appearing to have withstood the test of time, the classic German racer has been listed at the SilverstoneAuctions’ Classic Race Car Sale, on July 27, in The Wing building, at the Silverstone Circuit, UK.

The vendor has yet to release all the details, but one thing that we do know is its estimated selling price, which stands at £140,000-£180,000, or $177,594-$228,335 in today’s exchange rates, so make sure you bring lots of cash if you’re interested in taking it home.
