Aston Martin took us by surprise by unveiling an updated Vulcan, the AMR Pro. Presented during the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed, the track-only supercar made its dynamic debut on the famous hill climb.

The upgrades come in the form of a package, which was created by the automaker’s AMR performance sub-brand. It focuses on weight loss and aerodynamic enhancements that significantly improve its downforce and is offered as a package for existing Vulcan owners.

These will have to turn to Q by Aston Martin Advance Operations to have it fitted to their hypercars, and some of them have already opted to do so even before the company showed it in public. The first customer cars are expected to be completed this fall.

Described as ‘Aston Martin’s wildest-ever car‘, the Vulcan AMR Pro’s engine remains untouched. This means that the naturally aspirated 7.0-liter V12 still has an output of 820hp and 575lb-ft (779Nm) of torque.
