The Fisker Emotion is shaping up to be one of the more interesting electric vehicles and the company has just begun accepting reservations.

While detailed specifications haven’t been announced, customers who are interested in the model can visit the company’s website and reserve a car for a $2,000 deposit. That’s a little steep but Fisker revealed potential customers can only reserve up to three cars which seems like more than enough.

Besides opening up reservations, Fisker released a new video which gives us a better look at the upcoming model. In the clip, we can see the car has carbon fiber mirror caps, a carbon fiber rear diffuser, and unique wheels with carbon fiber rims. The latter item is backed up by a high-performance Brembo braking system.

Little else is known about the car but Fisker has already confirmed the Emotion will be all-wheel drive and have a range in excess of 400 miles (643 km). More importantly, the vehicle will come with a quick charging feature which will provide 125 miles (201 km) of range in just nine minutes.

The Emotion will be unveiled on August 17th and pricing will start at $129,900.
