Henrik Fisker Shows The EMotion Sedan In Full

Shortly after posting a number of teaser images on Twitter, Henrik Fisker has released a picture showing his newest creation, the EMotion, in full.

The exterior design of the electric sedan is dramatically different and more refined than the vehicle depicted in renderings released last year. It features relatively short and rear overhangs and has a nose that angles down aggressively to the road.

Elsewhere, the vehicle pictured rolls on a set of silver wheels, with doors and hidden door handles that seamlessly flow with the profile and shape of the model.

Beyond its eye-catching design, Fisker is making some serious claims about its abilities and the technology found within. This includes the implementation of a hybrid supercapacitor, a quick-charge function that can offer 100 miles of range in just 9 minutes and all the hardware required for full autonomy. The EMotion is also said to have a range of about 400 miles (643 km).

Pre-orders for Fisker’s Model S rival will open on June 30 before production kicks off in 2019. Mark August 17 down for its premiere.

  • Aporto

I kind of like this design. Definitely love the shape, but the aluminium or aluminium colored front part is a little meh…

      You read my mind.

    • Marty

      Best looking Daewoo ever 🙂

  • Dennis James

Looks pretty good. It does have a resemblance with Tesla Model 3 (on steroids), but also looks like a shortened Fisker Karma.

  • Tumbi Mtika

    It still needs work.

    • donald seymour

      Yes it does.

  • Bash

Now why can’t tesla come up with a fine design like this? Smh

  • CarCzarDesigner

At first, I thought I was looking at a new Tesla. Now why Henrik Fisker didn’t try to differentiate the styling a little further away from his competitor, is beyond me.

  • Dariush

    Wow. So good.

  • Subi-Rubicon1

Such a cool looking car. Suicide doors?

  • Knotmyrealname

As mentioned in twitter, I don’t get all the hate. It’s not my cup of tea, but kudos to the guy for advancing the capabilities of EVs.

  • Plutonium

Front chrome thing reminds 1960s Fiat 600, and Alfa Romeo had that front chrome thing. Nice design other wise.

  • Karl

Very nice indeed, this is what Tesla’s model 3 should have looked like.

  • Belthronding Tinuviel

i have liked what Henrik Fisker all designed, including this.

  • Mark

Well Henrik, you were proud of the Karma and I gave you $200k to build it. Where’s my money?
