Because the Jaguar F-Type was never advertised as a supercar, some people might be tempted to underestimate the SVR version, despite its performance credentials.

Powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine, the F-Type SVR puts down 575 PS (567 HP) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft), which in turn helps it pounce from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 322 km/h (200 mph).

Those are proper supercar numbers, and this Ultra Blue example got the chance to put them to use against a Range Rover Sport SVR, a BMW M2 and a Porsche Panamera.

Against the RRS SVR, it’s a bit of a family feud, one that the lighter and more powerful Jaguar wins pretty hands down – you didn’t really expect the SUV to keep up, did you? We won’t spoil the other two races (as much), but we will mention that the M2 Coupe was obviously the lightest car here by a quite large margin. Still, is the smallest M car, or Porsche’s super saloon for that matter, really a match for the mighty Jag?
