Well, the Dacia Sandero Stepway ‘Very Limited Edition’ is not exactly available for order just yet, but it will be, by the end of the year.
Announced during the brand’s ninth annual picnic, which saw almost 10,000 guests gathering in South of Paris, France, the special edition of the supermini will have to be voted on social media, from three propositions, each with a different look.
The first one is called ‘City’, and features a black exterior with special decals on the side mirror casings and roof, while the second one, known as ‘Navy’, has a naval theme, emphasized by the look of the hood and roof. Finally, the most colorful of the three is the ‘Pop Art’, with its vibrant decals added to the roof, hood, side mirror caps, and parts of the profile.
Dacia will only be making 150 copies of the winner, but have yet to announce on what trim level it will be based, and what engine will power it. Voting is open until July 12, so we could be looking into a late summer unveil, or even a 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show presentation, where it might share the same space with the new Duster.
