This Custom Ford Mustang Convertible Is Fit For A Sheikh

The Middle East is known for its supercars and extreme customization but this Ford Mustang really takes the cake.

Created by automotive designer Hussain Albagali, this one-off model was built for Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan al Nahyan over the course of seven months.

The Sheikh asked Albagali to create an extreme Mustang 4×4 based on a Ram pickup truck. After meeting with him to discuss the project, Albagali created some conceptual drawings which were met with rave reviews.

The project progressed to the construction phase and a new Ford Mustang was mounted onto the chassis from a 2015 Ram pickup with a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine. As you can imagine, this required a number of modifications including new front fenders and the construction of body extensions to ensure the car has a cohesive appearance.

The end result is truly impressive as the car resembles a classic 1920’s convertible complete with a spare tire mounted on the passenger side. Of course, the car is far from old and it’s bound to turn heads due to its massive size and Mustang body.

how true, its hideous junk. Poor Mustang, it got abused very badly.

      • Benjamin B.

The vehicle is actually a Ram 2500 4×4.

        • Matt Johnson

          It’s not a Ram 2500 4×4 but a Ram 1500.

    Wow, well that’s something I wouldn’t have thought of. It’s certainly…unique.

Just shows that a lot of money does not equate to a lot of good taste.

If you check out the second video that shows the finished vehicle, you also see photos of the guys who worked on it. Look at the joy on their faces after completing this beautiful masterpiece!!

In case you don’t understand the sarcasm, they all look sorry and ashamed of what they’ve done!!

Arabs have more money than taste and this proves it.

In the words of Sheldon Cooper: “What fresh hell is this?”

But seriously you might want to shield your children from looking at this, it’s bound to give them nightmares.

  • LeStori

Definitely suitable for a Sheikh. A person with more money than taste. One down right ugly car and should be exported to the middle east , the land of no taste, as quickly as possible.

  • Honda NSX-R

    One question: why?

  • Dinyar Master

If you’re tying to figure out why, just look at the start of the video, he has a crack pipe in his hand! He obliviously has been hitting it big time for years, look at his car collection but be careful, you may want to blind yourself afterwards.

He has a Dodge Grand Caravan and a Chevrolet Blazor because why not?

    What the hell

  • CarCzarDesigner

This reminds me of vehicles from the 1930’s. It is hard to believe that someone would want to do this to an otherwise decent car.

  • Enter Ranting

Are they expecting some sort of Mad Max situation over there?

    • Jimmy

They already have a Mad Max situation over there, it is called driving down the highway among the hordes of Filipinos, Indians, Pakistani and a host of other third world nationals that live there and do the work that is below the stature of the Arab nations nationals.
