2017 Ford GT Looks Perfect Painted In Riviera Blue

Few colors in the Porsche palette are quite as recognizable as Riviera Blue and just when we thought it couldn’t get any more amazing, we stumbled upon this: a 2017 Ford GT in the exact same shade.

Although the new GT was only offered with a small number of standard factory colors, the carmaker can paint its latest supercar in pretty much any color the customer desires, as long as they’re willing to pay for it.

We’re not sure how much it’d cost to have a color like this made up, but since we’re talking about a $450,000 supercar anyway, money was probably not an issue.

The car is owned by Instagram user FordGTForum who got it about four weeks ago and, as with all other GTs, matches its futuristic design with a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 with 647 hp and 550 lb-ft of torque.

Only car I can remember I don’t like in riviera blue. Too much. Might be the car design as it’s just blah.

  • Kash

the color is too bright and flat (and I don’t mean flat as in matte finish) for the car. it needs to be a little darker and more metallic.

I actually agree with you Kash. How have you been?

      • Kash

better but still with the occasional pain and bad day, but what do you expect.

Riviera Blue is a beautiful color on the Ford GT. I like it and prefer lighter colors on this car to highlight its very dramatic lines. Ingot silver is my personal favorite on this model along in addition to the color white both accented by tasteful carbon fiber accessories.

Love the car ,but that blue is too bright for me….

  • rodriguez256

Nice color but it really needs stripes to help break up all of that blue.

That color is nice only if you break the continuity with some stripes on the roof and the bonnet and you change the color of the lower sides.
