Powered by a 475 HP HEMI V8, the 2018 Durango SRT is calling itself America’s fastest, most powerful and most capable three-row SUV.

Priced from $62,995, the 2018 Durango SRT flagship model will arrive in Dodge dealerships during the fourth quarter of 2017, with every single new customer said to receive a session of high-performance driving after their purchase.

“This is what you get, when you take everything great about the Durango and combine it with the performance of the Charger SRT: a 12-second quarter mile, 8,700-pound-toy hauling, three-row muscle car,” said FCA exec, Tim Kuniskis.

The 2018 Durango SRT is available in seven exterior colors, including B5 Blue (a late arrival), Billet, Bruiser Grey, DB Black, Granite, Octane Red and White Knuckle – rugged colorway names for a rugged SUV, so to speak.

Sticking with the outside theme, the new model comes with a widebody design, functional SRT hood with a center air inlet duct, plus a new front fascia and lower valence for the new cold-air duct and LED fog lamps. Inside, there’s leather and suede as standard, a high-performance Demonic Red Laguna leather seating and new carbon-fiber trim.

As for optional extras, they include the 20″ split-five spoke wheels with the Low Gloss Black Noise finish, a power sunroof and rear DVD entertainment, among others.

In a straight line, the 2018 Durango SRT will muscle its way to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 4.4 seconds, while covering the quarter mile in around 12.9 seconds.
