Ahead of this weekend’s British Grand Prix, every team in the F1 paddock took to the streets of London in a high-octane demo.

As part of Liberty Media’s attempts to make every F1 race a huge spectacle, the live demonstration shut down a famed part of central London for 90 minutes as drivers entertained fans with burnouts, donuts and some masterful F1 powerslides.

Arguably the star of the show was Daniel Ricciardo who took to the wheel of Red Bull’s V8-powered show car and performed dozens of donuts at the Horse Guards Parade hairpin. As most other drivers were piloting V6-era cars, Ricciardo’s stunts sent shrieks through the streets of London.

Also on hand were the likes of Valterri Bottas, Sebastian Vettel and Pascal Wehrlein but the video below shows the ex-Ayrton Senna McLaren-Honda MP4-6 being driven by Stoffel Vandoorne made the modern cars look rather ugly.

Controversially, hometown hero Lewis Hamilton was the only driver not in attendance, taking the opportunity to have a few days off before the race weekend.
