Maserati Genesi Concept Is A Stellar Dream Supercar

Despite its attractive design and intriguing positioning within the sports car market, the Maserati Alfieri isn’t any closer to production than it was when unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2014.

Given the uncertainty that still exists around the Italian sports car, Behance artist Sergey Dvornytskyy has rendered his ideal future Maserati, dubbed the Genesi Concept.

The car takes obvious design inspiration from the Alfieri and has similar proportions, but features an altogether more futuristic design and has been designed to cater for the impending future of autonomous vehicles. Dvornytskyy has designed the Genesi to provide a fully autonomous driving mode, while also allowing the occupant to drive the car thanks to a steering wheel which extends out of the dashboard.

Another interesting feature of the Genesi is that, while in autonomous mode, the driver can select VR mode and all of the windows will transform into a virtual reality cockpit, allowing the driver to experience their favorite race track while the car is actually driving itself.

    damn, that’s amazing…

Yes please. The Mas design language is starving for something new. I think they’re going to have to rip off this guy’s grill design because it’s tha good.

“Genesi to provide a fully autonomous driving mode”
During the last few months Renault, Honda and some other global manufacturers have been attacking by some ransomware viruses. Think that these manufacturers have “ultra secure” computing systems in their production plants.
But now these producers thinking to produce “fully computer controlled cars”
    This is not their choice.
    Consumers want this!!!
Giants like Intel and Apple and Google are pushing the consumers to want these techonogies.
They are bored of selling smart phones, laptops.
These sector are not profitabe any more.
Now they want to SUCK UP the car industry until the last blood drop.
In a few decade we will read about HACKED CARS and CAR RANSOMWARES!
“Give me some money otherwise you will not be able to start your car”.
This is the future of autonomous cars.
If hackers are able to hack the ultra secure computing systems of the producers like Honda, Renault etc.. it is NOTHING!!!!!!! to hack an IDIOT! Apple Infotainment System or Android Car Play.
This is not the future of the cars.
This is future of the IDIOTS who will give the control of the car to the hackers.

Maserati is really becoming the Subaru of luxury grand tourers: show a bunch of concepts that the production model will never look like. I mean look at the Alfieri, bits and pieces on the old 2007 model, call it a day.

Read the article again before posting stupid comments like this.
It’s some random guy who made this… abomination. Except the name, it has nothing to do with Maserati.

      • ToniCipriani ✓pǝᴉɟᴉɹǝʌ

Then maybe you should re-read my comment. I was specifically using the Alfieri as the example.

Why don’t people just admit when they say stupid things? You have implied that Maserati “showed a bunch of concepts that the production model will never look like”. That is FAR from the truth.
Alfieri was the first concept they have shown in years, and you can only see styling queues incorporated into the Quattroporte and GranTurismo facelifts, and most likely the production version of the Alfieri will look very close to it. As for what you have implied, the last concept they have shown before Alfieri was the Kubang in 2010 which is virtually identical to the Levante.
So, again, what are you talking about?

The back end is innovative, in a good way. The front end is innovative, in a not-so-good way. The side profile has been done to death by everybody, but I do love the rocker panel in blue. Like many designs, it has potential.
