Few people so beautifully epitomize the history and heritage of Lamborghini quite like Valentino Balboni.

Balboni served as the company’s chief test driver for 40 years up until his retirement in 2008 and knows the Italian marque’s vehicles better than anyone else on earth.

Recently, he jumped behind the wheel of one of the most famous Lamborghini models ever produced, the Countach.

The Countach in question is a 1986 QV and was built specifically for Lamborghini’s chief executive at the time, Patrick Mimran. It is painted in a stunning shade of maroon and sits on a set of gold wheels. When combined with a set of pop-up headlights, the Countach was the supercar of the time and, to this day, remains one of the most extravagant road cars ever conceived.

So, what does the legendary test driver think of the iconic Lambo? Find out by watching the video right after the jump.
