707HP 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk Priced From $86,995

Jeep has announced the pricing details of the 2018 Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, which is the most powerful SUV in the world right now with the kind help of the Hellcat’s powertrain.

Powered by the same supercharged 707hp 6.2-liter V8 engine as used in the Hellcat models, the Trackhawk version of the Grand Cherokee is now able to hit 60mph from standing in 3.5 seconds, with the standing quarter coming in 11.6 seconds at 116mph. Top speed is 180mph.

A Torqueflite eight-speed automatic transmission and other driveline components have been upgraded to cope with the monstrous power output.

“The 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk delivers astounding performance numbers, backed by renowned SRT engineering that combines world-class on-road driving dynamics with luxury, refinement and an array of innovative advanced technology,” said Mike Manley, Head of Jeep Brand – FCA Global.

“As the most powerful and quickest SUV, there is nothing else like the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk in the market, and with its starting price of $85,900, there is no better value for a high-performance SUV,” he concluded.

The standard kit list includes features like 20×10-inch Titanium-finish alloys, big Brembo brakes, five drive-mode Selec-Track system with adaptive Bilstein dampers, a limited-slip rear differential and many more.

Customers will be able to place their orders in a Jeep dealership nationwide, starting from August 10. The starting price has been set at $86,995, including a $1,095 destination fee.

Are fog lights optional this time around?

    • John

      looks like it..

  • Bash

Kinda disappointed with the looks, not sure what i was hoping for, maybe more dramatic front/rear bumpers and side scoops and some spoilers…. i don’t know why FCA keeps doing this, this is a big deal for them i guess, come on give a different look than a typical standard GC!!!

      • Bash

        True, thanks.

  • nastinupe

For $90,000 I think that I’d opt for a used Range Rover Sport SVR or a used Porsche Cayenne GTS. The interior of this thing looks like a $25,000 car.

    • Jay

While the RRS and GTS are still overpriced for what they are I agree with you 100%

    • brn

It’s hard to tell from the pics how good the interior is, but it’s well above that of a $25K vehicle.

  • kachuks

Has anyone found a good road review vid?

  • Blade t

    I likes it ,but 90k is steep….

    • europeon

No, it’s not. You have to put it in context.

      • Jay

It is steep, it still has most of the interior from standard GC. Basically saying that a couple for 100hp’s cost 50k…

        • europeon

          Well, yes and no.
It’s a SRT (already packed with nice things and a pretty upscale interior) with a more powerful engine and other uprated mechanical things, so you have to start at $70k and add another 18-20k for the engine.

          • Jay

Isnt the SRT’s “upscale” interior pretty much the as the Summit model. That is about 50k. The SRT costs about 16k more than that which is okay considering the powertrain differences. But the Trackhawk has the same differences when comparing to the Summit so yes its still a very steep price.

          • europeon

I’m sorry, but I don’t think you really know what you’re talking about The SRT interior is way better and sportier, you also get better suspension, wheels, brakes and AWD, over a standard Summit.
Maybe for you those upgrades don’t worth the money, but, as I said, put it in context, and you’ll see it’s a really good value for the money.

          • Jay

Sportier how exactly? All of GC have the same parts inside, maybe a few more buttons and switches and a color difference. I already mentioned the SRT has a good price range but 20K more for a few more HP is steep no matter the context. It is over priced. Its an american car that should not cost close to 100K because FCA’s build quality is still sh*t.

  • Craig

I absolutely LOVE this! You guys can have your Range Rovers and Porsche.

  • SteersUright

Cool effort, far too expensive for this brand.
