Don’t worry if you didn’t spend the extra cash on an Audi R8 V10 Plus opting instead for the standard model, because ABT Sportsline can now make it just as powerful.

Work includes optimizing the motor management, which pushes the supercar’s output from 540PS (532hp) and 540Nm (398lb-ft) of torque, to 610PS (601hp) and 560Nm (413lb-ft) respectively.

This means that the lesser version of the Audi R8 matches the power of its more potent sibling. We don’t know what its new 0-100km/h (62mph) acceleration time is, but it definitely slashes something off the 3.5sec needed before the conversion, and probably comes very close to the V10 Plus’ 3.2sec.

ABT are asking €7,386.55 (equal to $8,759) for this upgrade, which is also compatible with the Spyder. Pay more and you can also have the 19-inch ER-F or 20-inch GR rims in ‘black magic’, and if the budget allows it, then you can also fit one of the two different body kits to your R8 Coupe: ‘Street’ or ‘Race’.

These offer additional performance optimization, airflow adjustment, and stainless steel exhaust system with carbon double tailpipe trims, providing another 20 horses, in addition to the visual parts that include visible carbon fiber panels, front lip, blades, wheelhouse ventilations, and others.
